I am pleased to report that nothing in "How To Stop An Exploding Man" contradicts anything in Ritual (8), and in fact actually reinforces almost every single thing about it.
I have almost never seen anything so romantic, really. Romantic in a "you stupid fucking idiots, neither one of you has to die, so quit showboating and trying to one-up each other on the neediness!" sort of way, but romantic all the same. Hoorah.
