It was all he'd thought it'd be, and more, Draco's lips on his own after all this time. They'd become "friends" about a month after Dumbledore's death, but it had taken until right before the final battle to finally confess love. And now Harry didn't want to leave the safety of the Room of Requirement, with Draco's lips on his.
"I have to go," he whispered when they finally parted for air. Draco whimpered and drew him closer by his shirt, giving him another kiss.
"I'm scared, Harry, so scared," he breathed in a terrified whisper and Harry felt something stab at his heart.
"I know, sweetheart," he whispered back, "that's why I have to go. So you don't have to be afraid any more. So we can have a life in peace. I love you, don't ever doubt it, okay? I love you." And with one last heart stabbing whimper from Draco, he left for the battle.

After the battle, everyone wanted to talk to him. Harry did however not want to talk to them. He allowed the twenty or so people closest to him go shake his hand and thank him for defeating the Dark Lord, but then he allowed his world to become a frenzied haze of fear; fear that he wouldn't find Draco, or even worse, find him dead. Therefore, it was with great relief he heard Draco's voice behind him, frantically calling out his name.
"Draco! Oh, thank God you're alright..."
Draco didn't say anything at all as he sobbed with relief into Harry's neck. After minute or so, he lifted his head to place a kiss on Harry’s lips. Draco's lips and a world without Voldemort - it was all he'd ever dreamt if and even more.
