Korea, Day 9

Oct 08, 2013 01:34

Yeah, it was a cold. I spent most of the day sleeping, attempting to sleep, or blearily staring at my laptop.

We took the KTX back to Seoul and made our way back to Myeongdong, where our hotels were. Because I wasn't feeling so good, lunch was at a place that specialized in rice porridge, a traditional Asian food for sick people.

A and my hotel wanted ₩11,000 per hour for checking in early, which seemed excessive. Fortunately, B and E's was more reasonable and had no such restriction, and they were nice enough to let me crash there.

Everyone else went off to do stuff; I later heard they went to a cat cafe and a sheep cafe, found a place that sold Magic cards (E and A both play), and ate street food.

I went back to the rice porridge place by myself for dinner and picked up large bottles of water and orange juice from a convenience store. Eventually everyone else came back and A and I checked into our hotel.

I was mostly hoping I'd be better in time for tomorrow.
