count me in and turn me loose
on saturday we had a huge buy one get one free sale going on at work and things were really crazy around the store, but not o bad as everyone seemed to have their cupons in order and no one really gave us any hassle about what was or was not on the sale....until the next day. some lady came in and wanted to get more movies on the same deal, but adrain had to explain to her that it was only a one day sale and the cupon would no longer ring through our system, so started getting really abrasive and in his face. he came to the back-room to get the manager whom i was chit chatting with, but the manager wasn't really in the mood to deal with it, so i took over for her. i explained the one day sale theory to her and said that all really wants to do is exchange one of the movies she got the day previous for a different movie. the problem was that the movie she was exchanging was her free movie and the movie she wanted was a bit cheaper, so she would be getting money back for a movie she got for free...i explained this to her as well and came up with some theory about papaerwork that i mumbld at her and somehow got her to exchange the movie without getting the difference back and managed to also get her to buy some other product in the store. so now adrains til is up $5 because i somehow convinced this lady that we couldn't give her money back...so i scrounged up thirty-five cents and went to A&W for lunch and had two mamma burgers and a large fries for $5.35. who says i can't be management?
