The blood had stained the dirt, Minl looked at it, it was fairy blood, the blood so pale it looked almost flourecent in the dim light. Crouching down to observe the ground to see what had taken place, he could tell that the creature that had been attacked had gotten up and moved. If this was a fairy why had he not flown. The anser was a few feet away.
Part of a wing lay on the ground, it appeared to have been severed from the shoulder, Minl stomach turned, the only way for a fairy to become immortal. He knew instantly what had gone on here, and that is when he felt the eyes searching his back. No movement he thought, if he moved he would give the eyese a reason to attack. These eyes did not need surprise they had the ultimate advantage, they loved to attack their prey with full knowledge that they were there, even if it was only a second before they killed.
The wind began to pick up he felt the dark closing in....

The long darik fingers brushed her beautiful face, she shuddered with the touch. the bony fingers and sharp fingernails, claws they were, did not frightened her but disgusted her. She wanted to release the food she had eaten but that would not have been like a princess, and rather give the creature the knowledge that she was disgusted she stomached his touch.
She had not seen her capturers face and still she could not, the room was bathed in a hideous darkness that her even well groomed fairy eyes could not pierce. She felt the hand touch her hair and pet her as if she were a domesticated bug of sorts.
The voice, rolled out like a darkness, deep and gargled, the sound of bones being crushed "I have known you everyday since your youth, I have watched you from afar and you have not noticed me." The gnarled hand brushed her beautiful young flesh. "I have loved you since I first laid eyes on you. The beauty contained within you far exceeds your outwardly appearance. My sweet, sweet Minner, how I yearned for you to notice me."
Had the words come from any other creature Minners heart would have called out to it, yet the demonic creature that spoke to her was evil and sent shivers down her body with each word it spoke.
To her head it quickly came she knew who it was, or what it had been, "Lu-" the boney hand crashed against her face, causing her to fall to her side. She lloked up and all that was there was darkness, no silouette, a door closed in the distance she was alone again. Tears came to her almond shaped eyes and she wept.
