[a pause as he turns to look at his window again, just to make sure he's not hallucinating the figures out in the windows, and the noises, and that god-awful feeling]
tell me I'm not the only one who's seeing things outside their own window. [there's a return of that hesistance, with some disbelief on the side -- the voice sounds a little far-off because he's looking back to the window again, and you can hear the rattling sound through the line. from the other side of the phone, becker cocks his gun.] Is that even normal?
