My brother asked me if I wanted to go to Japan next year with him, Cheryl, and her sister. I really do want to go but I have no money. I totally need to get a job... T-T
I forgot to mention that Jamie went to basic training, in South Carolina I believe, on 3/13/11. She has to wear these all white outfits while running through muddy obstacle courses. So ridiculous! Those are gonna be stained in no time at all. She also can't have any sort of entertainment either. No phone calls, no email, no TV, no books, and can only write/receive hand written letters. Even during their "off time" they don't really have off time. They may be called out during their sleep or while they're eating. Jamie keeps telling me to join too but I know I would never survive. Even if I could stand the boring qualities, my gut tells me, and I do mean my literal gut, I wouldn't make it. LOL! I would probably collapse after 50ft of running and on dry, flat land at that. XD
I'm rewatching the Initial D series which I have been slashing for a while. But I never realized before how easy they make it to slash some of the pairings with the kind of lines they give. The Ryousuke/Takumi pair is especially easy and I love it since they're my OTP for the series.
First Stage, Ep. 21
A bouquet of red roses are delivered to Takumi at his work place. The card reads,
"パンダトレノ様、
9月十五日午後十時秋名山頂上
高橋涼介"
or
"Panda Trueno,
September 15, 10:00pm at the peak of Mt. Akina
Takahashi Ryousuke"
I know it's supposed to be a challenge but COME ON! Why not phrase it differently or not send red roses? It really does sound like he could be asking for a date. LOL! And then Takumi gets all spacey the rest of the episode even when on his date with Natsuki. It's so funny 'cuz I HATE her! Why did she have to go a ruin that part of the episode by kissing him... *muttermutterlittleignorantgolddigginslutmuttermutter* hehe! Also, ROFL at Itsuki=Tofu.
Third Stage
*Gas Station*
Ryousuke: I have a few things I would like to talk to you about. Can I meet you after work?
Takumi: With me?
Ryousuke: Is that not good? If you don't have time, I can come back again.
Takumi: No, it's not like that. After work, I'm free.
Ryousuke: Then give me a call when you get off. *hands over paper* Here's my cell number.
Takumi: Okay.
Ryousuke: I'll be waiting.
*Ryousuke drives away*
Takumi: *bows* Thank you very much! (for being a customer)
Itsuki: *runs over* Oi! Oi! Takumi! What was that all about, your conversation with Takahashi Ryousuke?
Takumi: I'm not really sure. *blushes*
Itsuki: Hey, how come your face is all red?
Takumi: Eh? No, it's nothing! *scratches nose* Well, I'm not too sure myself... But I get like that when I'm around that guy.

hurr! hurr! They make it so dang easy!
I also just realized how similar Initial D and Prince of Tennis are. The subject of the show may be different but many of the themes and characters are alike. Takumi and Ryouma are the young prodigies. Bunta and Nanjiro are the pro level fathers/teachers. Ryousuke and Tezuka are the leaders/mentors. (AHAHA!! Ryousuke is modeled after Takahashi Kunimitsu. How perfect a name is that?) Itsuki and Horio are the sidekick/comic relief. Natsuki and Sakuno are the ditzy, romantic interest. Then there's all the drivers and teams which are like the different schools and tennis players.
