Still alive.
Hello again LJ world?
A mail from a recent friend reminded me this thing is still active, and apparently, by some, still checked. So I suppose rather than a letter, I can post a few updates here to keep in touch.
I know I have been absent from my usual haunts, neopets, gaia, and forums. Some of those were given up (if any of you near and dear still play neopets let me know and I'll see if I can't hook you up?), some where decided to be set down, and some just drifted away. My online life now seems to consist of writing some stories, reading tons of stories and old rps, and playing wow. Mostly, it's that I'm also offline a lot now due to the new home.
So updates? And done in my old fashion lazy little way, to try and avoid a nine page post.
- Still got the new house. Still LOVE it. >.> But god, what an anal neat freak I turned out to be. Guess who vacuums at two am? Right now with the economy, it's tough to make payments, but I'm working it out. This house isn't going anywhere.
- Still got my beautiful puppies. Two chihuahuas. Boo (the older male I got on Halloween last year) is a neurautic mess. He develops random phobias day in and day out, seems slightly mentally unbalanced, and has become Quinn's dog. Birds of a feather and all that. Ellie, however, is my angel. She's the smartest dog I've seen, and insanely loyal. I kid you not when I tell you she keeps me sane and makes me smile every day.
- Endearia and Arcadia (if you don't remember who they are, don't fret. XD) are here as well, gorgeous as ever if not sadly limited in their wardrobe. They do have new friends though. Last akon we went to, I bought a handsome older elven boy doll, who was named Ashley due to a d&d character with the same red mane and pissy attitude. Same akon, I recieved an unexpected present. Kumori (means shadow) my beautiful white skinned demon doll. His little horns tickle me.
- I am not going to akon this year. -_- Makes me weep, but oh well. When it comes down to it, I'd rather be safe with the house, and money's just a little too tight.
- I still rp... Just... very limited. And, I weep. The people I liked to rp with seem to have vanished, or schedules just don't mess, so it's all at home rp now with Quinn, or the roommates.
- We lost one roommate, recently (for those who don't know I lived with two guy friends and Quinn). We still have my childhood friend Brett, but Ken my weird D&D play and fellow drinkmaster, has left to go back to the city. His job cut his hours, and he needs to make sure he's doing well too. Plus his girlfriend lives up there. ^_~ So hey! Live in the area and need a place, contact me! >.>
- I don't drive. Still. Hehe... Well, I live right next to my job, so boo on that for now.
- Still work at the same place. MUCH less bullshit now. New boss adores me and my fabulous coworker, since he and I seem to keep the place clean.
- Quinn and I. >.> Yup, still together. Still love the brat too, though god, don't get me started on putting a pillow over his head while he sleeps. I think maybe that's typical of any long term relationship. We have ups and downs, mostly with him adjusting to a non-parent run life, but we're working it out. Not married yet (though doesn't he try?).
And... Yup. That's about it for now. To those who still read, and to those who don't. I miss you all, and still think about you more often than you'd believe.
