(no subject)
Okay, so... First stop in the trip. I am currently in a nice little motel * in Phoenix. We're staying the night here since our plane leaves tomorrow morning, and neither of us liked the idea of getting up insanely earlier (like 2am) to make a two hour drive for the flight. It's a surprisingly nice room, and we're watching the Hell's Kitchen final. o.o I got SO hooked on that show.
Anyway, more random good news. Before we left, mom came home from work with a package!!! Arcadia's clothing came in early! And look fantastic, though that's just off him. We'll see how they look on later. I can easily put photos on the laptop, I found out, so I expect to post tons of those through out the trip.
So far, mother and I have decided we both want to go up the Coast first. We'll land and then follow the ocean up into Maine, since we both really want to play on the beach, and then later in the week, we'll do the family get-togethers. I can't wait to see my cousin.
o.o On less fun notes, I'm having trouble again with friends. This time though, blah, I'm just... Kinda neutral about it. Same old stuff, and damn it, I'm going to enjoy myself. No one is going to ruin this for me. I'm seeing family abnd home, and getting to talk about my future.
So... Aside from potential pictures after I dress my baby, who is indeed with me, though whether he'll be in the carry on or in the checked in is unknown yet, that's all. Actually, right now, I've heard there is a 99% chance there is now NO carry-on allowed. No food, medicines, nothing. Save for a book, if I caught that right. o.o
