a little laugh

Well, as most of you probably don't know, I've had a Bra-Eating Monster running amuck in my panty drawers and I've been losing my favorite bras quite a lot. At first I thought it might just be a perverted gnome, but no sadly it was a Bra-Eating Monster. Well, it took away my light blue and black bra from Target which really sucks since black and blue bras and an integral part of my fashion scheme. Today, I was happy to open up my bathing suit drawer (no monsters to speak of in THERE) and lo and behold...MY LIGHT BLUE AND BLACK BRAS WHERE IN THERE! Now, I know you all think that I probably misplaced them, but I've been swimming often lately and I have gone through all my drawers many a time and no blue or black bras. Earlier, my pink and peach bras were missing and I was deeply regretful since those are also an important part of my fashion statement, but my mom accidentally got them in with her laundry and when she went to wear them they were 2 sizes too big. And yes, I DID check in my underwear drawer to be certain this was a true blue Bra-Eating Monster. So ANYWAY, here were my 2 bras and I am happy to say they are back among the rest of my bras playing and trying to get over such a traumatic experience. The Monster took them in captivity, but thank goodness they were so creative and talented (they accredit this to their owner) that they entertained said Bra-Eating Monster with quite amusing tricks like playing catch with themselves in the cups and jell-o wrestling. So, the Monster prolonged their certain demise long enough for them to finally beg freedom because of their owners recent depression (me). I now can happily say that this has ultimately brightened my day and I have donated all bras that do not fit me anymore, ones without cups (you get the Madonna thing going on with those), and all the bras my mother has bought me that have enough push up and padding to make me look like Pamela Anderson, to him. He is satisfied with these new delicious things and has made an agreement of staying away from my favorite bras as long as I supply him with the ones I don't want. I just thought I'd share my story to all of you battling the Bra-Eating Monster wars, it's a tough situation and I know you might feel ready to surrender, but you must carry on! For without hope, you have nothing. I feel so happy that I'm going to go adopt some more bras from target in Yellow and Dark Blue to join their brothers and sisters in my bra drawer!

Have a wonderful week guys! Hope this made you laugh a little, I know I did. Hopefully the next edition of the adventures in Miriam's room I will fill you all in on the contingency of dust-bunnies that have made my ceiling fan their home...

Love, Mir
