I started work at Mr. Cid's shop today. It's been pretty crazy. The customers haven't been so bad but some of the other folks have been. Like, some crazy guy came in and held a gun on one of the customers and Mr. Cid. And then some crazy monster tore a whole in the ceiling

Mr. Hojo really honestly doesn't seem to recognize you at all. Maybe it was a different Hojo or someone like him. I mean, folks here from different worlds always mistake me for some one else and there is this guy Leon who keeps getting accosted by all kinds of people about being some guy named Squall.

I don't think it works that way, Mr. Vincent. I mean, you're both here NOW. Regardless of what "now" meant in your world for both of you, you're in this one now. I don't think there is any way to change what happened to you. Even by killing Mr. Hojo you can't avert it because for you it already happened. But for him it didn't. So it wouldn't really change anything...
