pregnancy and help!
Pregnancy- So on Monday one of my residents from last year that I have a class with emails me and tells me she's not going to be in class and she'll tell me why on Wednesday. Obviously you know where this is going...she's pregnant. Awesome. She's a sophomore in college, he's a junior in high school (still legal, he failed a grade) and obviously this is an excellent situation. Luckily her parents are being supportive and so are his and they want to stay together, but not rush into marriage anytime soon, so, yeah, just kinda scared me. We talked about how everyone always has the thought, "It won't happen to me." But the thing is, they were dumb about it. Oh well, plenty of other people have been pregnant before.
Help- so I have to have a clip from a movie from a paper that I wrote. Think back to all those children's movies you saw. Do you ever remember a time when a teacher was making gender a part of the classroom? Comments to think about would be like,"You're good at gymnastics, for a boy," or "of course you can't run as fast as him, you're a girl." Anyway, if you think of ANY POSSIBILITY, please please please let me know.
