Fame and fortune...

Well, "fame", sort of, but no fortune.

The Grassy Knoll Cheerleaders' song NINA has been selected by Logitech, the personal peripherals company, as one of the signature songs to be used in their holiday sales campaign. It has a vaguely Indian(dot) timbre to it. So go to the GKC website and give it a listen, so that when the Logitech commercial comes on, you'll know which music clip is ours. I say OURS because it was composed by Mitchell, Pierre and I.

I had no idea it was being considered. We had it being circulated by ASCAP/BMI as part of a general music sampling, along with a thousand other struggling artists. I received a "copy" of a letter sent to me by Mitchell that went to my old street address. I never received it. They only forward mail for 6 months, and since my house is no longer there, well...

Anyway, my share of the "fortune" is $67.12, before taxes. So, um, yippee.

I don't want to achieve immortality through my work...I want to achieve it through NOT DYING!
