So it turns out that I have been using firefox 3.6 when mozilla have got up to version 8.0
A bit behind there, but it had been doing me fine until recently when it started to get a bit buggy. So I upgraded & what do I find?
"Firefox Menu Button; All your menu items are now found in a single button for easy access."
Easy Access my arse. Decluttering maybe, but easy access? I don't think so. I admit that mostly I only ever used the History & Bookmarks menus. (Everything else is either keyboard shortcuts or irrelevant.) and now you are telling me that I have to click an extra menu to get there whilst at the same time telling me this is easier?
Has the definition of Easy changed & no-one told me?
On the plus side
"Customize Toolbar; You can adjust Firefox’s interface to be exactly the way you like it: re-arrange, organize, add or remove buttons or fields to change your browsing experience however you want."
So atleast I can pull my Home & Refresh Buttons back over to the Back/Forward buttons where they belong rather than being seppareted by the Address Sea & Google Search.
Whilst it is nice that I can move them, I have to question the decision to rearrange them in the first place. What was wrong with having them all together, in one place?
So I reitterate, I am starting to wonder whether the internet hates me.
