Looks like we're not going to London as planned. The couple we were going with went and got knocked up!!! That's ok, I'm happy for them. They'll be great parents. London will still be there next year.
Selfishly, I now have to think of a vacay alternative.
1) We're on a budget (we're always on a budget!!), still have renos to think of.
2) We aren't beach people. We like the beach but can't spend 24/7 on a beach. Hawaii was good for us - a nice combo of beach & city life. So something similar would be good.
3) We don't want to go near hurricane/tornado country
4) I don't want to go to Cali, since we'll be there next summer
5) I'd prefer to leave North America, but I'm hesitant to get inoculated...
hmm.....
One week in Disneyworld?
One week in NYC?
One week in Cape Cod?
One week in my bedroom sleeping?
