Under appreciated
I have been feeling under appreciated lately. Mostly at work of course. It isn't that my boss doesn't notice all the extra stuff I do it is that she just doesn't seem to really care. Oh sure she says things like "I really appreciate you working all these weekends" then her next line is "but can you work Tuesday?" and then she seems irritated when I say "no I just worked 5 days I need a day off"
This makes me want to do the minimal possible to just get through my job. Everytime I try to help someone out it just backfires. Sure I'll help you edit your online notes can you help me.. oh your busy geez sorry I bothered to ask.
I am to the point that if someone is nice to me I don't trust it.
Is it true that people are only nice to me because they hope for something in return?
