So, I've made yet another new blog!
I love LJ. I really do. But the reality is that this has become a place for me that is more about community participation than it is about making a personal blog. So I have decided to make a fresh start on that front. Not with another LJ, nor with yet another blog that is for just one particular aspect of my life. Those last type always seem like such a good idea, but I end up neglecting them for long periods because (a) it can be difficult for me to use the computer anyway for random and indeterminate lengths of time, and (b) they simply have too narrow a remit.
Why not another LJ? Because I hate having to log out/in of different accounts all the time.
Why not use this one for more personal entries again? Because there is too much history here, and I want a fresh start.
I will still make occasional posts here, and my participation in the communities here is not about to wane (I LOVE the LJ communities I am a part of), and I will continue to read my friends page; but I will stop kidding myself that I use this journal for anything else other than that anymore! ;)
So, this new blog? It's http://elvielove.tumblr.com/. Feel free to come have a read or not as you like! (But be warned it's pretty bare right now, and I can't promise it'll ever be interesting!) ;)

ETA: And true to form That blog didn't last very long. This one (http://allaboutelvie.wordpress.com) will probably have greater longevity!
