Since I don't want to think, will just watch TV

I just got caught up on the last couple episodes of Gossip Girl. Not sure why I'm still watching it. The plot has gotten to be pretty stupid and irritating, but I still kind of enjoy watching it. Guilty pleasure :P What I found particularly amusing was the shameless plug of Bing in the last two episodes. Even more amusing were that for both instances, it was the adults who referenced it--the first time was Rufus using Bing while the second time was Eleanor saying "Bing it." Really, if you want to use Gossip Girl to market the search engine as young and cool, then shouldn't be having the young people use it instead?

Anyway, I also caught up with Ugly Betty. The last few episodes seemed really rush and weren't particularly great (or funny). I'm just glad they bought Wilhelmina and Connor back together. And I'm glad they didn't try to force something to happen between Betty and Daniel (even though it was implied). I'm going to miss Wilhelmina, Marc, and Amanda. It was a good show when it was funny.

Since I'm writing an entry about shows, might as well update about the shows I saw in Vegas too. I watched Ka and Le Reve with parents. I liked them both. Ka was the fifth Cirque du Soleil show I've seen, but it was very different from the other ones. It was much more about the story than the acrobatics. It was nice to see something different. The stage was amazing.

Overall, Vegas with parents was kind of boring though. It really isn't a place to go with your parents after a certain age. It's supposed to be Sin City and I didn't even commit any sins!...except for gluttony but that I do anywhere and everywhere.
