Work is so, so, so boring that I'm honestly tempted to bang my head on the desk repeatedly as a way to distract myself from this boredom or better yet, to knock myself unconscious so I won't have to sit here for (looks at watch) 7 more hours. SHIT. Seven more hours.
Aiya! No, no, must resist the urge to inflict self-abuse, considering this is not the most worthwhile way to lose brain cells...and not to mention, I'm not exactly looking to be labeled as the psychotic intern, yet.
I usually don't have any problem dealing with boredom and I'm generally very capable of entertaining myself (not in a dirty way), but sitting in front of a computer for 8 hours a day is seriously starting to drive me crazy. And that's coming from a person who would willing spend most of her free time in front of a computer anyway!
I think it has to do with the fact that I can't concentrate on one thing for a long period of time but here, I have no where to go. No distractions. Forced to stare at this stupid monitor (which by the way, I'm convinced is possessed because it makes weird shrieking noises every so often) for EIGHT HOURS A DAY. I'm trapped, I tell you!!!

The only good thing that came out of this is that I've been reading the news much more lately. Which, by the way, led me to come across this article that I thought was quite interesting. Basically talks about how Asian people love to gamble :X
