Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows - Party Pics & Notes!
So it's been exactly a week since I finished reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Well, a week and almost a day. I've finally summoned up the courage (and the unlaziness) to post scans of my notes that I took while reading the book and pictures from the midnight party I went to. The notes are point-form and most are just little blabbers of excitement or writing down quotes that I liked, but you can probably get the gist of what I was feeling when reading certain parts, too. Enjoy? ♥

The shirt I wore on the actual 21st... SO RAVENCLAWY and I didn't even notice when I first picked it out. True sign of a Claw, I'm telling you. IT'S IN MY BLOOD.
The aftermath at 3:30AM...
As you can see, I had lots of fun! It was so exciting and I started crying on the way home as Michael drove me because I looked at the dedication and realized it was shaped as a lightning bolt and I just couldn't handle all of the emotions. Especially since I was hyperventilating at the same time and trying not to scream and I just... I was holding the last book ever!
Anyway, here are my notes. I forgot to write the chapter titles as I wrote, but whatever... you'll be able to pick out what happened based on what I wrote, rofl.
DUDDERS!!!!! and I didn't cry when Hedwig died... it happened too fast I couldn't even process it. ;_____;
HE LOOKS LIKE AN OMELETTE LMFAO ONE OF MY FAVE QUOTES EVER. oh Xeno Lovegood. and R/Hr HANDHOLDING ♥ and Sirius.... omfg Sirius. Also, if you noticed, I mentioned Prison Break in the first few chapters and then again here, LMFAO. Clearly obsessed.
Cries, Potter memorial. And you know how things always ask what your favourite quote is? I've finally found a real favourite. "Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." ♥♥♥♥♥♥

THE RAVENCLAW TOWER SHOULD BE MY HOME. I LOVE THE EAGLE ON THE DOOR THING. LOVE IT. I ALSO LOVE NEVILLE!!!!!!!
I seriously cried when Percy jumped out of the tunnel. I seriously did. OLIVER WOOOD!!!!!!!!! And the R/Hr kiss OOOMG. AND WTF DRACO!!!!!!
Reading the effing notes for these two chapters makes my heart stop. AKJFHSF.
You can't tell, but the page is crinkled in various spots on the left side because I was crying so hard the tears actually splattered all over my notebook. That scene...by far the best scene in all of the Harry Potter books. Thinking about it and the quotes and what was said and seen in that final moment makes me want to cry on the spot. "Will you stay with me?" "Until the very end." I just... Also, if JKR killed Lupin earlier just so he could be in this scene? God bless her. Also, I had absolutely no idea what to say about King's Cross. My God it was just like, ................ and MOLLY WEASLEY ILU OMG I was like, WOW JK WHAT WILL THE FIVE YEAR OLDS THINK. Or rather, what will the five year olds' parents think of to replace that word? LMFAO?
I laughed only at "Hugo" Weasley and "Scorpius" Malfoy. My body tingled when I found it was Albus Severus (Bravest man). A little disturbed when Harry used both James AND Lily's names as his kids' but completely in love when we found out Neville was now a professor.
So there's that. I'm planning on rereading this book soon. I'm finishing OotP, gonna read HBP, and then gonna read DH again. My heart hasn't accepted that it's over yet. My mind knows it, but it's not registering.
The magic is not supposed to go away.
But I loved this book. I truly and inevitably did. Anyone who said that they didn't like it? Wtfever, okay? I thought it was the best of the entire series and it was a really powerful conclusion to this decade-long series. I'm so proud to have been a part of this since the very beginning. So proud.
Love you, JK Rowling. Seriously, I do. You're the one who's given me hope in life. I will always believe. ♥
P.S. I think goodbye might be my long lost braintwin because I just read her DH review and I was like, "Am I reading my own review?" #1 DH, #2 OOTP, bikini-clad muggles ftw. Woooorrdd.
