Beyond Borders

hey guys, just making a quick update about the most...important/significant? thing that happened today. Today in religion we started to watch the film Beyond Borders (starring Angelina Jolie and Clive Owen) which is a film to represent the work that Doctors Without Borders does. Mr. Pivato mentioned it before we started watching the movie today and I immediately recognized the name because Michelle, Michael, and two of their friends did a project on them last year. Anyway, so we watched, like, half of the movie and it's really good so far. The part where Sarah asks Nick why he doesn't call her by her name and he gives her an explanation...that made me tear up but Phil and Marc kept talking so I couldn't get the full effect. This movie has a really strong message and it hits you because there's just so much visual stuff...and the part where the bird is like...about to each the child and had already attacked his mother. Ogh. Anyway, weirdest thing was that the new show at 9 on the (now don't call me a fob because I'm not, my parents had it on during dinner) Chinese channel (36) was about the exact same thing, Doctors Without Borders (except...Chinese...) and I just thought it was so coincidental so I told my dad and he was just like, ...kool... but inside I had, like, a revelation, lol. So I watched a bit of it and yeah. Both the show and movie made me really sad, though. When I'm older, I really want to fly down to places like Cambodia and stuff and help out but I'm scared of the army people and being run over like Angelina did in the movie. Ah well.

Oh yeah, today Melissa, Haley, Carolyn, Josh, and Ryan came over for the comm. tech. group's photoshoot. It was swell. Pics will come later.

Anyway, that's all. I still have to finish my justice assignment. Psh.
