feckin excited over here.
while one of my dreams (that of grad school) has been crushed/put on hold for a while another is coming true. i've always wanted to be published in a scholarly journal. really i'm that much of a geek.
so today i found out that the prof i've been working for put my name on an article coming out later this year. well not really an article just an abstract from a conference paper presentation but still it's getting published in the journal of sport and exercise psychology. since i didn't do too much work on the project my name is second on the list (sigh) but still i'm really excited. this should also help my chances of getting into school next year. now to get back to this boring tedious research work so that maybe i can work my way into more publications.
on a totally unrelated note... in solidatiry with me and my black eye my doggy went and got himself a serious lump on his face when he was playing with another dog. he's such a sweet boy.
