"I wish Turkey only cost a nickel!!"

So this Thanksgiving was the first year I made the dinner. It turned out pretty good actually. The sweet potatoes were magnificent!! Curtis did the Turkey, he did a damned good job!! It was just the four of us. We enjoyed our day off. I cooked, Yaz helped a bit, Cid played his X-box, and Curt did trailer stuff, and Turkey stuff. He built a nice warm fire to keep us toasty. After dinner, we all had chocolate pie, and then went to go see "Chicken Little." It was such a cute movie, I would recommend it to those of you who can enjoy children's movies. I loved the "Fish out of water" and the big fat pig who gets anxiety attacks and quotes random popular songs. Overall I can say proudly that this is the best Thanksgiving I have had in a LONG LONG time. My parents are divorced, so it's nice to have a Thanksgiving that's not spent bouncing from one place to the next eating small bits here and there, while missing the chance to sit down and actually eat a full meal. I really enjoyed myself this year. This is the first Thanksgiving in 3 years that Curtis hasn't been in Iraq or Afganistan, so he no doubt enjoyed the time we had this year as well. I feel full, sleepy, warm, loved and extreamly Thankful for my wonderful family that appreciates me, and allows me to spend such a great holiday with them. I'm so lucky to have them in my life. Esspecially Curtis. He's got everything I could ever want and need. Curtis, Thankyou for being so supportive and appreciative. All the things you do for me never go unnoticed.
