New ideas, same direction...
So I've now decided to get my practitioner license in International Disaster nursing. It's exactly what I've wanted to use my nursing degree for without being stuck within the same 4 walls forever. The more I research it the more spot on it is for me. Who knows, maybe I'll join the Peace Corps one day!
Lauren moved to Thailand on Tuesday and I already miss her like crazy. She brings so much enjoyment to my life. I can't wait to visit her in a few months.
We're getting bonuses at work for picking up extra hours so not only am I getting overtime, but I'm getting $50 gift cards too! I'm finally at a point where I'm not broke between pay checks and I actually have money in my savings account. That will all be gone with the holidays I'm sure. I'm excited to decorate the house next week. I can't wait to start piling presents under the tree.
Phillip has been working really hard. When he's not working construction he's helping his dad out. He amazes me every day.
Guess I should get some rest. Maybe after another chapter of my book :-)
