Because bethestage deserves this all in one post. *smile*

For bethestage

Nick always managed to make Kevin's blood pressure rise. Like the time he devised an elaborate scheme (complete with charts, graphs and rundowns on his laptop) entitled Operation Eyebrow Removal. Kevin did not realize until days after the operation was successful that Nick had even performed trial runs, going so far as to climb into bed with a sleeping Kevin to ascertain how close he could get without waking him up.

After getting over his anger and replacing Nick's shampoo with Nair-he knew that Nick lathered up and spent twenty minutes doing other things before rinsing the soap and shampoo from his body-Kevin wished he had known at the time that Nick was in his bed. In fact, he lay awake for several nights afterwards, wishing Nick had the gumption to return for a repeat performance.

There would be many more opportunities for Nick to raise his blood pressure.

The time when, both tipsy with fleeting inhibitions, Nick groped him in the darkened corner of a VIP lounge, leaving him hard and panting with desire. Making him slip to the bathroom to relieve himself so he could walk comfortably. Making him wait, hopeful and sobering, for hours in his room, only to learn in the morning that Nick had spent the night with Howie.

That had caused his jealousy to flare, something Kevin hated when it happened. He hated having to face his emotions in such a turbulent way, especially when it meant facing his emotions about Nick.

When it came down to it, Kevin was never truly sure what his feelings for Nick were.

At times, yes, he wanted to murder him, the morning he woke up with no eyebrows being the main occasion. And, at other times, he wanted nothing more than to pull him into bed, to lose himself in the full lips that begged to be kissed. To whisper the words he kept to himself. To feel the strength the young man possessed.

And, suddenly, without any warning whatsoever, Nick arrived at his house. It was late, Kevin had taken his date home earlier in the evening, was preparing to just go to bed and read and pretend to forget what a lousy date it had been. Surprised, he stood in the foyer of his empty home, staring at the figure hovering in his doorway. Finally, Nick tossed his jacket towards the coat rack, kicked the door shut, sapphire eyes gleaming with passion.

"I've. Waited. Long. Enough," Nick growled with each step, quickly backing Kevin against the wall. Their lips crashed together in a fiery kiss, and just before his body slipped into delirium Kevin realized that, for once, he was glad that Nick was unpredictable.

Her word was tempestuous. And I sure as hell hope I incorporated that feeling into the story.

Feel like giving me a pairing and prompt? Mosey on over here and drop me a line.
