Another day...
It's another beautiful day. The sun is shining... its warm but not hot...I love it. I just got out of class. Surprisingly I'm feeling quite chipper today. The reason its such a surprise is because I barely slept last night and had to get up for class around 6:30am. I just couldn't sleep and Im not quite sure why that is. Its nice to be in such a good mood considering the circumstances. I suppose it's not so bad since I only have one more class today, and none tomorrow. I can catch up on my sleep then. Im just enjoying my day. I don't have a whole lot to do so I will simply relax and sit back and watch the day go by. Not much has been going on. Me, Ellen, James, and Molly played basketball again this week. I didn't wake up all stiff and in pain like last week. A few weeks ago the 4 of us girls headed out to Jelly Belly for candy, which ended up being closed, so we decided we wanted candy (or Ellen did..lol) and went to Target and discovered the 50% off easter candy. Quite an adventure that turned out to be. The few bags of jelly beans and cream eggs that were in our basket soon turned into a full basket filled with an assortment of easter goodies. We have the target price scanners to blame for that...lol. "25 CENT?! BACK to the candy aisle!!!!" Last Wednesday, me, Ellen, Molly, and James played a LONG 2 1/2 hours of basketball. It was fun... but seriously tired me out. Afterwards Ellen said she wanted to quick shower and get the gang together and go down to the lakefront to watch the lightening from the storms that had passed, over Lake Michigan. It was really awesome. Aside from a few mishaps on the way there (i.e Marissa going the wrong way and Ellen deciding to turn her mini-van into an all terrain vehicle LOL) we made it to the park and hung out, just enjoying the scenery and having some laughs. It was definitely a good night. Aside from that, nothing too exciting has happened. I'm just studying and trying to mentally prepare myself for finals which will come up before you know it. I suppose that is enough for now... I'll keep u posted on any future adventures.
