timmy went off the ait training for the national gaurd, thank god...he stresses me out so much...haha
the past week or so has been great...the car is great, the novelty of driving it is slowly starting to wear off, but i still like to drive it...on weds. i worked @ the prison only til 11am, so i had the rest of the day off...and i don't remember what the hell i did...thursday, worked @ the prison from 8-11:30, then met evan for lunch @ passage to india...i love their food...it's my fave...then went to work @ the bank...evan's such a sweetheart, he brought me a book to read b/c i had forgotten mine...brought me j.d. salinger's 'nine stories'...they're pretty good...at first i didn't really think there was anything speacial about them, until you look at how in each story, there is an emotional change in someone...then thurs. night evan and i went to ashenfelter's house to hang out w/the guys...he hadn't met them yet, and they're hilarious so i knew he'd like them...so it was ashenfelter, hanson, ross, and josh...we abused a few substances and hung out for a few hours...haha...last night was ellen's b-day, so i ate dinner over there, then later on evan and i and his parents just hung around talking, his parents are very cool, my parents are such squares compared to them...i love my parents to death, but i can't talk to my dad about radiohead and amy mann...his dad made us some cosmopolitans and we all just talked for a while...so it was fun
worked today til 6...now i have to go to the mall and get my dad a father's day present...it's great, b/c whatever i buy him, he will wear...i get to dress my dad...haha..not like that, but you know what i mean...
frida came out on tues., it's a great movie...buy it
p.s. modest mouse show on coney island in july...marcus and jim are going w/this huge van, so with any luck, stew and i can hitch a ride and catch the show too...how grand that would be
