I've only been to the Asheboro one. It's a good one.

I've not been to the one in Ashboro but I seriously dig Riverbanks in Columbia.

Never been to Asheboro, but I can vouche for the total awesomeness of Riverbanks Zoo in Colatown -- the combination Zoo/Botanical Gardens is lovely, plus they have gorillas now! Great reptile/fish sanctuary, great habitats for the nanimals... ttly vouching!

I have been to both. The Riverbank Zoo is just lovely, and Brew at the Zoo was a blast, but I had more fun with the kids at Asheboro. There are lots of kid type activities all through the park. I prefer the Africa side to the North American side, but the North America does have some very entertaining Seals and Otters.

I think Asheboro is better and has nicer habitats for the animals. It's also laid out so you get a nice walk between exhibits.
