first post for 2016
I know it's almost April but life happened. I'm either busy studying or watching K-Tw-JP dramas (LOL).
Speaking of dramas, I've been watching KBS's "Descendants of the Sun" - I mean, who isn't watching this k-drama?! Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo's pairing is a match made in heaven. Their chemistry is offfff the rooooffffff! <3 It's been a while since I last shipped a fictional couple this hard!!!!!! Tbh, I was trying to stop myself from watching it, but the videos of Joong Ki have been circulating my FB feed. I. JUST. CANNOT. RESIST. HIS. CUTENESS. Finallly, this drama has reignited my love for Korean-made dramas. By reignited, this means I've been downloading everything related to the show, reading every news article about the show, actors, etc. . . I'm such a fan girl!!!
In Taiwan drama land, I'm currently following SET's "Back to 1989" and "Refresh Man" - the former drama has a refreshing plot which reminds me of the movie "Back to the Future" but with a twist. I guess it's not your typical time travel show since in this drama's case - the protagonist time-travelled back to the time before he came to existence. The whole "I must find my real father" plot is still the main goal of the character, but in between, he encounters a whole lot of crazy. As for the latter drama, I'm basically watching it for Aaron Yan and Joanne Tseng. It's actually a pairing that I've always dreamed of!!! The story hasn't really piqued my interest, but I'm hoping the story gets better as the episodes go by.
Hmmm, since it's nearing the month of April, I'm looking forward to three new dramas!!!!
1. Lego Lee's new TV show which feels like another coming of age kind of show hahahaha (sticking because of the artist i suppose)
2. Ohno Satoshi's new romcom - i'm so excited for this since i cannot imagine riida in a romcom
3. MJ's new drama - well, it's freaking matsumoto jun!!!!! it's been two years since his last drama so yay!!!!!! i'm also excited for this one since he's playing a lawyer role (which tbh i never imagined him playing)
