We'll Mami is finally back home again. It was great having her visit. I go back and forth between being glad for the sudden quiet and wishing she was still here. The surprise birthday went exceptionally well. She didn't have a clue. Folk kept coming by with various reasons for being there - about 20 people came. Jen & David stopped by to show us her new illumination. Linda, Byron, and the girls came by to bring Mami some more beads for her rosaries. The neighbors came by to see her before she left town. Some folk came by to see the new siding. She was even commenting to people that she wondered how large the party would have been if we actually planned it! It wasn't until we sat her down and started singing Happy Birthday that she even began to think the croud was there for her. It was wonderful.
