Managers are Morons

Allow me to explain. I went in today at 11am. No big deal, right? I knew of a fact because I checked the schedule last week and again when I got to work that I got off at 5. Simple. I check again after both my break and my lunch to make sure I have it memorize: 11-5, 11-7 tomorrow, and 10-6 on Sunday.

5 rolls around. No one comes to pull me. 5:05-Tara, the manager who makes the schedules, comes out followed by Kari (another manager). I look at her and ask why I hadn't been pulled yet. She blinks and replies: "You get off at 6."

"My schedule says I get off at 5."

"Really?"

"Last time I checked. I get off at 6 either tomorrow or Sunday."

"Ok," she looks back at Kari. "She gets off at 5." And then she leaves! Why? Because she could.

Kari and Blake (who has some manager powers) disappear and I figure "Alright, I'll be outta here soon. 5:15, I have to call for a manager to over ride something. Blake comes out and does what's needed and I remark "Hey, why haven't I been pulled yet?"

"You get off at 6."

"No I don't, I get off at 5."

"Ok, I'll check." He leaves. 5:25, one of the other girls has to go in back and talk to them. I asked her to mention that my schedule says I get off at five, at this point complaining because three managers at this point were told that I was scheduled till 5 and all three of them were acting like I didn't know what I was talking about. What, do cashiers not know how to read numbers when that's what we do all day? Finally, Kari comes out and is all "I'm sorry, you were right. Finish with these customers and you can go." 5:30. It takes 20 minutes to sort and count down. Not to mention I had a questionable coupon and mis-typed something. And then all Kari can say is "Thank you Holly" like I did them a favor.

My head hurts.

Also, after only a few hours of play time, I not only beat Yu Yu Hakusho, but I beat the extra stage where you play as Genkai against all the bosses of the game and in the extrea unlocked by that I got a perfect score in the spirit energy testing games (like 1200 points). End result: A pat on the back. REplay value: Playing through the game and getting through each stage without dying and (with one stage in particular) gathering all items in ten minutes whie dodging enemies because you aren't allowed to fight. Also unlocking Hiei's and Kurama's ultimate attacks would be good. A good game for letting out stress too. Punching things is fun ^__^

It'd be challenging with I wasn't used to playing tag with bad guys who like to chase you around with various weapons. Thank you Legend of Zelda.

The graphics are really good (kinda like Sims), but the story line and the lines the characters throw out are all lines from the TV series. It ends rather abruptly after you rescue Yukina, though. Makes me want to watch the whole series instead of catching random episodes on Cartoon Network. It's be cool to watch in Japanese.

Ok, enough rambling.
