Today was SOOOOO crazy!

First of all, I came back from spec at 4:30 am and went to sleep at 5:00 am. Then, I woke up at 5:00 PM. After that, an uncool guy called me saying that he was in town and asked me to go to Serendipity's with him and his posse, and I was like "I got plans" and totally shut him down. (yay!) Then, my friends Kaythi, Maya and I went to Brooklyn (my first visit there EVER) to hear this new age/experimental saxophone quartet, after which we had Thai food and ice cream with Maya's aunt at Maya's aunt's kick-ass apartment. Not to mention, I learned that Maya eats the SAME generic Korean curry thingy that all Korean peeps have in LA (she's from Wisconsin and is half-Korean), which surprised me b/c S&G is now taking over Korean households all over the COUNTRY! Anyways, after that, Kaythi and I went back to Columbia at like 2 am, taking all sorts of crazy trains that took us from one part of Brooklyn to another, from Brooklyn to Downtown Manhattan, and from Downtown Manhattan to Uptown. Oh, and let me add that my friend decided to steal a "Wet Paint" sign, and we took crazy pictures...of me and the sign. yeah... Anyways, finally took the 1, which goes to the Columbia subway stop. BUT...instead of stopping at Columbia, it rushed passed the stop and past the next stop to a stop 40 blocks away from Columbia and IN HARLEM...AT 2:30 AM!!! We got off and were wondering what the hell we were going to do when this girl comes up to us and asks "Do you know how to get back to Columbia?" Well, it turns out she's an NYU student trying to get to Columbia to see her boyfriend, so we all shared a cab back. And let me tell ya, I have never been as glad to see John Jay (my dorm) as I was when I got back.

*phew* I'm sure that no one read everything because this was a long story (I didn't even talk about how I found out that two girls who are next door neighbors in my dorm got hit by cabs recently at different times-one of whom was Maya).

THE END
