This weekend turned out way more enjoyable than expected. Friday afternoon Jess came over and her, Mom and I had a semi girls night. We went out to dinner at Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse... had some good steak, drink, and conversation. Did a little shopping afterwards and then met up at my house with Deanna, Jared, Dave, Jake, and Joe. I'm house sitting for my grandparents who are on vacation for a couple weeks, so we all headed over there for the evening. Everyone has already quoted the whole bidet escapade so I will refrain. lol But a good time was definitely had by all. ;) Saturday night had some drama but all in all we still had a great time. Jess and Katie showed up at my house around 6 and we went and did some "bachelor pad" grocery shopping. haha After, we went back the grandparents' and the whole crew came back over with a few additions. I was laughing uncontrollably half of the night. Between the stale twizzler fights, Steffon's Looney Tunes commentaries, and the look of amazed joy on Jared's face when I told him to "go to hell" (go figure lol) among many other things, there was not a dull moment to be had. By the time everyone left it was late... by the time us girls went to bed it was even later.. or earlier, whichever way you choose to see it. haha Sunday morning we decided to officially make it a vacation weekend and we sat around like bums for a good part of the day. We finally decided to get up and going somewhere around 3. We got all dolled up (you girls were looking pretty hot yourselves.. haha) and decided to head up to Providence for some girly shopping. Finally got up to the mall only to discover it was closed due to it being Easter. :P So we went to Thayer Street... where once again pretty much everything was closed. We ended up just getting some food and heading home which was pretty disappointing, but we were all really tired anyway so I guess it wasn't too bad. My parents were at a couple from our hall's house so I decided to go meet up with them and we all watched Desperate Housewives together. :) Monday I felt really crappy... all the rain was killing me and I was so sore! But Jess came over and we slept over the grandparents' again and pretended to be "independent adults" which cheered me up. haha I'm really enjoying this whole house sitting thing. I'm definitely looking forward to the next week and a half! :)
