"getting older doesn't necessarily mean growing up"

I am exhausted.
No really, I mean it..very very very tired.
I've been busy but I will just start with this weekend. My parents are up north until Wednesday by the way. Saturday I went to work from 5-10 and then spent the rest of the evening with Steve watching 'The Last Temptation of Christ'.(you can bet I didn't pick that one out!) He woke up at the crack of dawn to work yesterday, and then I woke up to work at noon. After work I had "the girls" over for what was intended to be a girls night. I had been looking forward to having my friend over since I found out my parents were going away.
Kalynn was the only one who actually stayed past 11. I paid for pizza, and ice cream and Kalynn bought liquor and it turned out that me and her were the only ones who drank but everyone ate that whole XL pizza without giving me any money. I bought s'mores stuff and we tried to make a bonfire-everyone so clearly came to the conclusion the wood was damp and that we needed a)lighter fluid or b)starter logs...guess who offered to go buy some? no one. So really the whole evening wasn't too fun as bad as I wanted it to be. But Kalynn and I drank and gave massages and watched the Simple life marathon and laughed. I napped for an hour or two and then woke up to be at work at 5:20. I had a huge coffee to keep me awake and then came home at noon and crashed for 3 hours.

It's been quite the eventful weekend. Tonight I was going with Steve to watch Four Stroke Johnson play at Dave Kaz's house for Tiki Night on Wolverine Lake tonight but apparently it's cancelled? So I guess we will just have to find something else to do. I'm really tired anyway so I would really rather cuddle up with my babe and watch some quality tv.

I have a very busy week coming up but I'm assuming you don't want to read my itinerary so I will spare you all.

I have nothing fun going on for 4th of July, fricken Wixom fireworks no longer being on the 4th is stupid and leaves people with uneventful lives like me with nothing to do.

I have not written in a very long time, and it bothers me. Maybe I just don't have the comfort level writing at home that I do when I'm away. Maybe it's just writers block.

I really want to go back to school. I miss my friends, and I miss Jackie. I can't wait to decorate our apartment and cook meals and host parties.

Anyway, I guess I don't have much else to say. I hope you all have a fun and safe 4th of July :)
