So, I recently re-watched the movie Imagine Me &You, which is seriously one of the most adorable movies EVER!
Anyway, in honor of Piper and Lena, I decided to do a picspam of actors/actresses who've faked either English or American accents in movies or TV shows! This includes Americans faking English accents and people from the UK or Australia faking American ones. I picked seven examples from each of the four categories. (And in a number of cases, they've faked an accent in several movies, but I just picked one).
Pics are presented as so: "Name (Where they're from); Movie/Show they faked it in -- Any extra comments I have" (and the included pic is always from the movie/show that's mentioned).
So without further ado, on to the pics!
First, the American ladies...
Piper Perabo (Texas); Imagine Me & You -- You really can't go wrong, here. She's gorgeous, and she makes out with Lena Headey!
Anne Hathaway (New York); Becoming Jane
Jodie Foster (California); Anna And The King -- Personal factoid: When I was in 4th grade, I was part of a local production of the play, The King and I!
Gwyneth Paltrow (California); Sliding Doors -- She's faked English a lot, but I particularly like this movie
Meryl Streep (New Jersey); Plenty -- I haven't seen this, but she's just generally awesome!
Renée Zellweger (Texas); Bridget Jones
Angelina Jolie (California); Lara Croft: Tomb Raider -- Haven't seen this one either, but it was filmed in (takes place in?) Cambodia, and Cambodia is awesome. Also? She's hot.

Moving outside North America...
Lena Headey (England); Sarah Connor Chronicles -- I really think TPTB should get Piper as a guest star next season! ;)
Kate Winslet (England); Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind -- Fantastic actress, fantastic movie.
Cate Blanchett (Australia); The Aviator -- She made a great Katherine Hepburn.
Rachel Weisz (England); Runaway Jury
Kate Beckinsale (England); Laurel Canyon
Catherine Zeta-Jones (Wales); No Reservations -- I wanted a picture of her in High Fidelity, but I couldn't find a good one. Oh well, she's still quite gorgeous here!
Naomi Watts (England); I Heart Huckabees -- Hey, Jude Law would count for this list too, but he's not an official example.

On to the guys! Americans first...
Johnny Depp (Kentucky); Pirates Of The Caribbean -- Seriously, I love Captain Jack.
Brad Pitt (Oklahoma/Missouri); Snatch -- Might as well have Mr. Angelina on here too. ;)
David Anders (Oregon); Alias -- I was really surprised, actually, when I heard he was American.
James Marsters (California); Buffy the Vampire Slayer -- Wow, his cheekbones are kinda frightening.
Alan Tudyk (Texas); Death At A Funeral -- He was hilarious in this movie, and I didn't realize he was American until I looked him up after seeing him in Firefly. (It's a weird picture of him, because his character accidentally got really high, lol.)
Elijah Wood (Iowa); Lord Of The Rings
Sean Astin (California); Lord Of The Rings -- Yay for Frodo and Sam!

And last but not least...
Christian Bale (Wales); Batman Begins -- I read somewhere that he uses a different accent in every movie he's been in.
Ed Westwick (England); Gossip Girl -- Chuck is so much cooler than any other guy on GG!
Orlando Bloom (England); Elizabethtown
Ewan McGregor (Scotland); Big Fish -- Couldn't find a very good picture, for some reason.
Guy Pearce (England); Memento -- I love this movie!
Hugh Laurie (England); House M.D.
Damian Lewis (England); Life -- I couldn't find a picture I liked from Band of Brothers, so I'm using this as an excuse to post a picture of Sarah Shahi ;)
Well, that's it! I know there are a bunch of other examples out there, but this is what I came up with. Who's your favorite? Anyone major you think I missed?
