this post is for discussing the
JULY 11th ONTD_STARTREK MEETUPTentative plans: Meet at 3pm at the Park St station (corner of Tremont St and Park St) which is in the Boston Common. Alright, I'm pretty much dying to go, but the idea of driving in the city is all kinds of terrifying. And I'm not terribly familiar with Boston.

Could anyone else who's planning to park at the end of one of the lines possibly meet me there so that I have someone to follow into the city?

I'd also be up for a carpool if anyone else is coming from Southern NH (I'm in Derry).

Well, I don't know which line you were planning to park at the end of, but I live at the Forest Hills end of the Orange Line, and while I'll be driving downtown (since taking the bus from my place to FH is laaaaaaame and also means I can't stay out past 12:30), if you want to park at mine and hitch a lift in, that would be totally cool. I don't know how late you're planning to stay, but there IS bus access between my place and Forest Hills if you have to skip out before I'm leaving. (And parking on my street is free!)

Just an option, though, and if you get a better offer, please do feel free to take it! =D

It looks like I'll be able to meet up with someone at Sullivan Square, which should be easy enough for me to find. Thanks for the offer though!

I'm coming from the Oak Grove end of the Orange Line, which is north of Boston and therefore closer to New Hampshire...? I'd totally be willing to meet up with you there, or at any stop on the orange line- Sullivan Square, for example, is right off of I-93 so that might be more convenient than Oak Grove.

Ooh, this might work! I just googled Sullivan square, and it seems like it's pretty easy to get to, and I'm familiar enough with 93.

Any idea what time you'd wanna meet there?

And thank you for helping me! The last thing I wanna do is wander aimlessly around T stations while everyone else has Trektastic funtimes.

no problem =) I love the T, but it can definitely be confusing.

And uh, if we're meeting at 3 at Park St., we should be leaving Sullivan at like, 2:40? So if you want to plan to meet a bit earlier than that, just in case? Idk.
