How its going round these parts

Lets see, whats been up here....
I start working on Wed. I got hired with the catering crew at Ferris State...I'm going to use it as a foot in the door, try to get into a tech support department around the end of the school year. Its part time for now, I get a few perks but not the SUPER DUPER ones full time employees get. I'm very glad and excited about working there...should meet lots of people and have lots of fun. I worked in a similar position before, and had a blast with it.

I'm still working on getting into freelance more. I have a guy I need to see, and me and a bud are trying to get a business up and running. There isn't much money to be spent by businesses around here at the moment, so its slow going, but neither of us are ready to throw in the towel yet.

Bri is working at a grocery store and might be getting a better job soon. Its hard on him and the kids at the moment, he doesn't have a phone so he can't call every day, and he doesn't have a car, and I can only afford to take them to see him once a week. He's been staying here with them on one of his nights off, so he can have more time with them. I traverse the state, staying with whomever will have me for the evening. We're both doing well, and getting along better.

The kids start school after labor day. Liv will be in all day, every day kindergarten and Jamie is staying in the same classroom for this year. CPS is easing up on me a bit, but I've still got hoops through which I must jump to appease them.

I'm looking forward to seeing pics of your new baby girl, when she arrives! I'm so happy for you guys, another baby and a girl to boot. I can't promise I can send a gift when she arrives (since I'm still cash strapped 99 percent of the time), but I do think about you, your fam, and your happiness and wellbeing a lot.

Take care, Kym, have a fab seven weeks until the baby arrives, Jake, stay out of precarious situations as best you can, and Rory and Ronan, be good for your mum and dad.

Love you all fondly,
Jess
