Zeg The Invincible Dalek Versus The Karkus - Who Would Win?

We only have fourteen hours in which to save the Earth!

The other day I started watching season 4 of The Flash, and . . . I got as far as the four-part crossover. Honestly, I think I have lost interest in Arrow, The Flash, and maybe even superheroes in general. The first two seasons of The Flash were fun and good, and I do still like several of the characters in these series, but it takes more than a season 3 stumble to make me want to play videogames instead of watch DVDs. I will admit that I've never really understood superheroes, but I don't think that's the problem. The idea that having a superpower means you have to wear a silly costume, hide your identity from everyone, and only use your powers to fight crime has never made any sense to me. The kinds of powers these characters have can be put to much better uses. The amount of time spent on fighting crime, especially superpowered crime, makes it a full time occupation; you would never be able to hold down a regular job, let alone find time for friends, family and home life. From the start I always wondered why Barry Allen didn't quit his job at the police to focus on being The Flash. And I have often thought that societies in which people like superheroes and adventurers exist would be more believable if they had a separate legal organisation overseeing such activities, like a bounty hunters guild or private investigators union. This might also explain why I don't like how New Doctor Who has turned the Doctor into a godlike saviour figure. Sure, I'll still watch Avengers Endgame next year; I'm also going to buy seasons 3 of Supergirl and Legends Of Tomorrow next week. Long term, though, I find playing as the Lone Wanderer and Sole Survivor to be more heroic and inspiring. Especially when Codsworth comments on how I'm making the Commonwealth a better place.
