Doctor Heli on the go

Yaaay, I have just finished watching Code Blue! :) Honestly, I didn't intend to watch this series this soon. It was on my invisibly existing "to-watch list" OK, somewhere in the bottom half of Top 10 though. But this was the first torrent I saw when I was desperately searching for something to watch so I downloaded it right away. Haha! It was a wise move after all because, you see, I really appreciated this series.

Let me start off by saying this: Yamashita Tomahisa is H-O-T. That's all I want to say, thankyouverymuch. :D I still am not a HUGE fan though but I'm liking him more and more. OK,  either I need to have an eye check-up soon or he just has a very strong resemblance to Rustom Padilla (You know him? Google if you don't) which, I think, is a very bad thing. But hey, the muscles is a one good sight. And I love his unruly hair, very masculine. The acting, though, is not that good. But his character is somewhat odd, so I guess it's acceptable. :)

The other interns too were good. I find Aragaki Yui pretty, but I'm quite distracted with her long bangs. Couldn't she just tie it up or put a hair pin or something? Toda Erika has a different role here compared to her dramas that I have seen, so it took me some time getting used to it. Asari Yosuke's character is so kawaii. He's very optimistic and full of life, but I feel pity on him sometimes.

The supporting cast were strong. I really like the Flight Doctors - Kuroda, Morimoto and Mitsui *she reminds of someone I'd rather not mention* and the Flight Nurse (who has a strong resemblance to Horikita Maki). They each had a nice side story, which were all touching I must say *except for Morimoto-sensei's love story, it was funny*.

This was my first Japanese medical drama so I really had no expectations. I don't think the story is that plausible, but I kinda liked it. It was nice to see all the emergency cases, though I noticed most of them were because of falling from a high place or slipping. Haha! :D  And I always, always get lost with all the medical terms and stuff. Couldn't they talk a little more slowly?

There were lots of emotional scenes here, a looot. 3-4 episodes, I almost cried. I was actually *THIS* close in crying. I almost cried when Aizawa-san hugged his grandmother, when Makabe-san talked to Mitsui-sensei, when Kuroda-sensei lost his arm, when Kenichi was talking to his then-unknown father - there were looots of scenes that made me teary-eyed! Good thing I was able to hold back my tears, I would have definitely looked waaay crazy in my parents' eyes if I wasn't able to. :D

All that's left is the SP. I realized after finishing the drama that I haven't downloaded it. Tsk. But thanks to the many seeders, my download will finish in just a few. Oh yes! :) But I'll probably watch it tomorrow or the day after, since I'm quite sleepy right now. Geez.

If it can be treated one second earlier, the heart might start beating again.
If there is one extra helicopter, another life in danger may be saved.
If one more life can be saved, the Japanese medical community may regain trust.
There are more lives in this country that can be saved.

The "Doctor Helicopter" system was legalized in Japan in June 2007. A medical team is dispatched to the patients on a helicopter to provide medical care in the field as soon as possible. One day, four young physicians are assigned to this latest medical system. The doctors experience traumatic medical situations, deal with personal ambitions, witness the fragility of life, and they grow personally and professionally.
