Moved in
So, here I sit, in my new computer room, on Jim's puter, as I haven't replaced mine yet. I am totally McLovin' my house! I am thankful to everyone who helped with the move and clean up, because if it weren't for them, we'd probably be still at the old house.
It was wonderfully odd not to have any human-made noise above or beside us last nite (ok, except for the ice-maker in the fridge), and it will probably take me some time to not have that wrenching sense of dread whenever we crank the stereo or tv on too loud, worrying if someone is going to phone and bug us about rattling their crystals!
For some reason, I had the urge to look outside the blinds in the computer room. I kinda wanted to see what our new front yard/huge FLAT driveway looked like at 7 in the morning, and sure enough, the big puffy orange cat that Jim mentioned he saw, was just walking up our drive way, making its rounds.
I've also met the two pitty's next door, one is a rust brown, and the other is black and white, and they are most friendly! They always come running over, sticking their muzzles thru the slats in the fence to say HI.
I think I'm going to be really happy here, well, actually, I already am! I'm looking forward to getting a new lizard, tho, not sure what kind yet. Will have to un-pack, and get settled in first I think!
