So for the past 6 months or so the need to run a game has been growing. Of course, I find myself, sadly, short of two things for a game.
1) Time. Ah-yep, the big one of course. Between job, grad school, and working on our house, I have no free time. This should ease up in about...oh, let's say 2008, give or take.
2) Players. Of course, the second biggest deal when wanting to run a game. Two of my friends would be in, but again, the time issue seems to constrain all of us.
Now the hard part, for me at least, would be deciding which game to run. My preference would be, Nobilis, Deadlands, In Nomine, Mage, D&D 3.5, Amber DRPG, Star Wars d20. Now my problem is that the two players I have, one will play just about anything, but has very little experience, so something like Nobilis would be tough. The other just has a drastic preference for traditional sword and sorcery type games, and isn't huge on other genres. So, I find myself looking for other players in the NC area who are open to playing games like Nobilis or Deadlands...and of course, trying to add about 4-5 hours to each day, so I actually have time to run them.
side note: What do you do when a campaign idea has taken root in your head, but you can't actually run it?
