First of all, I'd like to congratulate
sewcute on her now
crossing over to the married world. Hope you're having fun in sin city!
A lot has been going on this week. I applied last week for the full-time
position of Web Technology Specialist (a perfect job fit for me,
eh?) in the Justice and Safety Center here at EKU, and had a job intervie
with them last Friday, but still have not heard anything back from them.
called the person who I interviewed with this morning, and she said HR is
still waiting to get information back on "a" candidate, and hoping to kno
something soon. I know I'm an optimist, but I just don't think I got this
position, because she said she had a lot of candidates applying for it
*ugh*.
I'm heading up to NKY with Sarah this weekend, and haven't been there in
while--I'm excited about that.
Lost 3x22 -
Through the Looking Glass:
My takes:
- Charlie did not refuse death, because he knew it was his time
(according to
Desmond's flashes, etc). He knew his purpose was to disable the jamming
frequency. - In a way, the tables are turned. The Others/Hostiles are now in a
state of
vulnerability (atleast the administration of them), with Ben being
captured by
the survivors, and Tom being shot. - Speaking of Ben, I'm getting the feeling that the Others are now
starting to doubt Ben and his motives under the premise of him 'lying'
about him being born on the island, and the jamming of the frequencies to
get off the island. - A new vision of Hurley has arose. Before everyone (except Charlie)
thought of him as being
'the fat kid' who really can't do anything, and not really having any
purpose
on any missions...to being the person who saves the day on the beach by
running
over some of the Others. He now has become one of the heroes. - We finally get to see the reunion of Danielle and Alex, which
answers the question that they are mother and daughter. - The "flash-forward" of Jack communicates that after he leaves the
island,
he loses his "pull-it-together" ability, and not having a strong daring
personality anymore. My guess, IMO, it has something to do with
Juliette?
