Let the tv-douchebagism begin
Last night was the grand finale of Dancing With the Stars.
Here's what I thought...
- I was heartbroken to see Stacy and Tony leave. It did get me by suprise, though, because I was expecting her to be part of the top two.
- Jerry's cha-cha just didn't get it for me. I did see him do some Latin hips, but in places his timing was off, and sometimes his looks were confusing -- IMO
- When Stacy got knocked off, I kind of knew Drew was going to get it, because I knew Jerry had low rankings.
- Drew's jive was awesome!
- I kind of thought it kept dragging on, by reviewing everything, but from a broadcasting standpoint, it's a good time-filler
- The salsa dancing to Mary J. Blige's song looked a lot like Hustle from my perspective.
- When they awarded Drew with the trophey, wasn't kind of like 'Duh'? I'm happy he got it though, he deserved it.
During one of the commercial breaks of Dancing With the Stars, I saw a preview!trailer for Take The Lead. I'm like 'woohoo! another ballroom movie!', and got excited. This movie looks awesome!
And during one of the commercials of Battlestar Galactica, I saw a preview for Doctor Who. I can't wait 'til that comes to SciFi, because I used to watch the old series (Tom Baker's series was my favorite), but yeah, I'm excited for it to come, because I've only seen glimpses of the new series.
I saw that facebook today amalgamated their college part with the high school part, which was something they didn't want to do before. This makes everything interesting now, and saw that they actually added my high school, and added it to my profile. So yeah, that's awesome.
