A 2 hour late post, hehe
Friday:
President's Ball was awesome. I think it's the best one I've been to so far (and I'm a senior--I've been to lots). It had a wide variety of music and dances (even more ballroom/partner dancing). They had a lot of swing, which I was pretty happy with.
It was great to see people who I haven't seen in ages and are students here--I guess we just get so busy and we're in our major classes a lot, hehe. Another cool thing was that the people that have been asking me if they knew anyone that aren't going to the ball that were wanting to trade their tickets, that they got in. I was pretty amazed and happy that they got in and that they enjoyed their night.
Sunday:
Later Sunday night, we started to review stuff for the ballroom piece in Lindy and Charleston. Later on, we started to learn just a little bit of Balboa. The interesting thing that this piece will include is swing stuff that is not normally seen, or just not that common. We haven't really started choreographing anything yet, we've just basically reviewed thus far, but I'm excited where it's going.
