Blinded by the flash of your light

Thanksgiving day was pretty cool. Sarah's parents came to have dinner with us at Cracker Barrel and my parents, plus some of her relatives too, and it was good to be with them all again. I think I was the odd one out at the table, because I think I was the only one that didn't have the turkey meal (I had a BLT salad, like usual, hehe). But, it was cool to fellowship with them all.

Last night, I was pretty much computer technician fixing one of my dad's computers. It took me a while, due to having to work around a non-functioning CD drive, and not able to use a jump drive (it's Win98, and not enough RAM to upgrade to XP), but yeah, it was basically installing drivers for a new network card, and finally got it done, woohoo.

This morning, Sarah and I went day-after-thanksgiving shopping. We left Richmond this morning @ 4am for Target in Hamburg. I know we're crazy for leaving, but we wanted to be there early, because we know what we wanted will be gone in the first 10 minutes. When we got let in @ 6, we were lucky to get what we wanted...a Kodak EasyShare 315 on sale. We were so glad to leave though, because it was so cold in the car waiting a while. But yeah, Sarah and I both got a camera for ourselves (my camera is old and doesn't really work that well anymore, so I thought I'd get a new one), and got one for our parents also for Christmas.

So yeah, here I am now in NKY at the moment in Starbucks procrastinating doing assignments for this coming week, I'll be so glad when this semester is over. I'm here to witness Sarah's church's hanging of the greens on Sunday, and we get to decorate a window together, I think? Next time I'm up here (hopefully) will be December 10th for the Winter Ball @ Music Hall *excited*.

Anyhoo, hope ya'll have had a good thanksgiving!
