So, I am not easily hooked on the shows but this one got me right away making me sit on the edge of my chair for those 40+ minutes that it lasts wishing for more in the end.
I must say I loved the previous episode a lot; much more than 1x03, if to speak of comparisons. The main matter of disappointment was that there weren't enough murders lately LOL In contrast with episodes 1 and 2, but sometimes the mystery makes better effect than blood.
Favourite/catching moments:
* Fortune-teller's blood dripping right on Abby Mills' name on the list of the party attendees. That was creepy and definitely wasn't just a coincidence. Plus, no matter what Shea said - that it was just for fun - the woman was clearly psychic since she could see something bad when it was Abby's turn to know her future.
* Madison telling that she wasn't going to be a flower girl because that was what spirit told her. This girl is a very interesting character. Ever since the show began, she was saying the things that normally she shouldn't know about and of course no one's listening to her. Yet, like any child she must be really perceptive to the "other world".
* I wonder what spirit was talking to Madison and fortune-teller. Could it be the spirit of Abby's mother trying to warn people that their trip is not going to end safely?
* The only murder of the episode was pretty stupid. What were these people thinking when sending this geek to hide the money? Come on! Leave alone, giving him the gun. No wonder he shot himself. Nervous people are not exactly compatible with all kind of weapons XD
* Poor Trish. I knew that she was one of the main characters who weren't supposed to die easily. Yet, they had no problems with killing other people so far, including her groom's uncle O_o and her ex-crush so for a moment or two I was seriously worried that she was not going to make it out of that pool when the cover started to roll.
Guesses:
As much as I don't like this idea, it couldn't not to occur. Could it be Abby who is killing all these people? O_o I know that she was the victim herself, meaning her mother's death but if John Whitfield was dead and there were no other murders on the island before the wedding party arrived… Well, it could be true. She might be on medicals trying to cope with her depression and loss that could cause split personality. Chances are, if it is true, she doesn't know that it is happening in the first place and that's why she's so horrified when Kelly dies. (???)
Yet, I am pretty sure that no matter what comes to my mind now, in the end it will most likely turn out that I was wrong. Granted, such kind of movies/shows never end the way you expect.
Waiting impatiently for the next Saturday and new episode XD
