I'm glad I waited to finally listen to this all the way through when I was actually in the mood for it. I had just heard a single or two but I got to say I'm actually really enjoying it a lot. I'm not the kind of Cure fan that has written off anything released after Wish. If it wasn't for Wild Mood Swings, an album dreaded by most fans, I don't think I would have gotten into the band as much as I did in high school. They still and will always hold the coveted 3rd spot in my top five. Robert Smith continues to be one of my favorite singers/songwriters/guitarists/etc. So if you are feeling adventurous then go for it. I'm really glad that Porl is back on guitar, it is really noticeable. Not that Perry was by any means lame, I've only seen the band with him backing up Robert but Porl played on all of my favorite late 80's albums... so yeah.
