Star Wars Day
A short little untitled fic for you guys about Dairine and Roshaun and the unofficial holiday that is today~

Summary: Dairine and Roshaun sit down to 'celebrate' Star Wars Day.
“I don’t understand the point of this holiday,” Roshaun protested as Dairine gathered the last of what she considered necessities for the movie marathon she had planned for the day.
“Just shut up and watch the movies,” Dairine said, and hit the play button on the VHS remote. Okay, maybe it was a bad idea to have a real alien sit and watch a science fiction movie epic along with you.
It seemed to be going quite well until about halfway through the second movie, when Roshaun, despite giving in and munching on popcorn along with Dairine, decided he needed to say something about the soundness of the logic in the movies.
“Really, how can you enjoy this. The lifeforms in this film are completely illogical, they all breathe oxygen. What are the chances of there being that many oxygen-based life forms and that they can all coexist is not a sound assumption,” he said, and despite a sharp glare from Dairine when shushing him didn’t work, he continued. “And I cannot just say nothing about the spacecraft. For one, they make noise. In vacuum. Sound needs matter! It’s a fact of the universe!”
She should’ve known better than to think Roshaun could sit through Star Wars without saying something disdainful.
“You just can’t comprehend suspension of disbelief…”
“There’s nothing to suspend, it’s not physically possible for spacecraft to make noise when it’s not in a vacuum…” Dairine could only stare when he went on in his tirade against the logic of ‘this George Lucas’ person.
“So much for May the 4th be with you,” Dairine muttered.
