Mod: Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
Hi y'all!
We're 4 days into Round 01: Juxtaposition, which means we're 20% of the way through! (Yes, yes, I do know that that was kinda silly. This is me speaking, after all!)
I've given a lot of thought into the current points system in the light of some concerns raised in other communities, and upon some ~deep~ reflection. Srsly though, this comm has not left my mind since I began planning for it. I've decided to make some changes that will hopefully make Myriadis more inclusive to everyone.
[CLICK MEEEEE]1) Writing:
→ Minimum: 400 words, or 4 points.
→ I am going to allow non-fiction strictly in the form of coherent explanations for song choices in the mini-mixes, i.e. no netspeak please, and smilies don't count either!
→ You can split the 400 words however you want, ofc. 250 words as explanations and 150 as fic would be as fine as 200 words for mix 1 and another 200 for mix 2.
2) Graphics:
→ Minimum: 4 points, to better balance out the points system. Writers, I hope this change will not upset you too much.
→ Reminder: they have to be substantially edited from the original image. I'm not gonna police your entries. It's all up to your own effort ;)
3) Mixes:
→ Points will remain the same: 6 points for front + back covers [400x400 preferably] and 4-5 songs.
→ What's lovely is that if you make one mini-mix, and write 400 words worth of explanations, you're past the minimum for both writing and graphics, and you've completed half of 20 points!
