i saw it. Marie Antoinette. honestly, i'd rank it in my top 10. i don't know, it was just so visually arresting and if you were really smart, you recognized just what she was trying to do with the characters. like, instead of a still neutral biopic, she illuminated their humanity and broke down historical boundaries to create a timeless character study. it was simply beautiful. one of those movies you have to see more than once: once to appreciate and take in all the pristine gorgeousness that runs through it, once to really connect to Marie and Louis, and one to just love it.
